Villian was 41/23 over 57 hands. He seemed fishy. Made a few loose weak calls early on as well as a few loose weak limps from EP and MP.

Haven't wized it but from a stove standpoint, he has to be calling 23% or more for this to be a +EV shove. Given the fact he's a loose fish, I can certainly see him calling much wider.

However, from a cEV standpoint I'm not so sure this was a correct shove given my stack relative to the blinds as well as the two shorter stacks at the table.

My gut tells me it was a good value shove but not quite sure. If I double through, I'm in a very good spot to take care of him HU.

Thanks.

Uh, don't post results.

This is easy fold, your shoving yourself into a coinflip with someone you have no fold equity against and 2 stacks shorter than yours.

As the second biggest stack you really don't want a confrontation with big stack on the bubble, and once he enters the pot you should be folding most hands. Here you're deep enough to set mine but coming over the top is hugely -EV.

Thanks for the responses guys. I think I was just in super aggro donk mode this session.

Was going back through my Moshman book earlier and think I was trying to value/straight re-steal myself to death w/ out much thought tonight.

As such, I knocked myself down 10BIs in a matter of 25 tourneys. Not a good way to start of the new year.

This section is useless at low BI's vs players with no fold button. You can ignore it for now. Many people have lost lots of money trying to do this at low stakes before they gave up. You are not the first.

Thanks Castle. That was the question I had been pondering all night. It just didn't seem to make any sense to be doing it at this level.

I know you're playing mid stakes now but at what level did you or anyone else start implementing this into their arsenal?
