Who has better guarantees? And I'm not talking about one off for specific tournaments, I'm talking about on the whole.

Stars has just about all structures you could want, I guess their deep/long tournies is kinda lacking, but even then, how many people truly want to grind 9+ hours regularly?

Regs don't make up the majority of the playing population.

The regs I was referring to were the ones that want to grind 9 hours aka usually very winning regs, obviously if you consider someone who plays 100+ games a year a reg, then yeah by virtue of necessity they will make up the majority of people. Do people actually think rec regs want to have to deal with super deep/long tournaments most of the time? If so, why are Party and 888 not booming since they have far more of those types of tournies?

I mean I know for a fact that for every 800 weekday marathon entries (600 individual players) there’s 350+ regs that play often per week and long sessions when they do

I think at $55 level vanilla mtts and above you would be surprised that most of the field at least plays a fair amount per year. Some of the Blues and sunday mtts are different.

Obv at micros a fair chunk of the field is recs.

I was expecting an icm payout for the final table (ITM). Instead I got this, as outlined by the following email:

Tournament started 2018/06/01 18:48:00 WET [2018/06/01 13:48:00 ET]

Dear rtspurs,

Tournament #2314788992 has been cancelled due to technical reasons.

When a tournament is cancelled, and players have already reached the money, we refund each player their tournament fee, and then divide up the prize pool based on the following formula:

- each player receives the minimum prize not yet awarded at the time of cancellation
- the remainder of the award pool distributed proportionally according to the chip count

At the time of cancellation there were 7 players remaining, and your chip count was 297,691.00. Total chips in play were 1,790,000.00. The remaining prize pool was USD 2,598.10 and the minimum prize was USD 105.97.

Prize pool to be divided equally: USD 105.97 * 7 = USD 741.79
Prize pool to be divided based on chip count: USD 2,598.10 - USD 741.79 = USD 1,856.31

Your share in money equally divided: USD 105.97
Your share based on your chip count: USD 1,856.31 * (297,691.00 / 1,790,000.00) = USD 308.71
Your entry fee refunded: USD 2.00

Total money refunded to your Stars Account: USD 328.49

We apologize for the inconvenience.
The bolded section doesn't add up.

It should be $416.68 by the method and numbers shown in the email.

The tournament lobby has it correct but its paid out wrong:

Hey all,

Normal service has resumed. All tournaments in progress were either rolled forward or back. If you were registered for a Spin & Go, did not play any hands, and did not receive your buy-in back in the event of a roll forward, you will receive an additional credit.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and any Friday sessions interrupted.

I believe this is because you received an Early Payout. If you combine the min-cash with what you received, the numbers match. We plan to have the automated email updated in the future to make this clearer.

Anything special planned for EPT Barca? Like the ultra sats last year, etc?

Another Common Cents instead of the MicroMillions would be nice. Players on a budget should have opportunities to win big as well.

Why is the structure so bad nowadays in the Bigger tournaments? 10 minute levels for so long and after blind 2k pretty steep blinds compared to 3-4 years ago. 25 blinds average stack from level 5k onward is not fun imo.

^ Haven't played the bigs since the changes.

Any chance of getting rid of the re-entry on the off peak deep stacks. Has pretty much ruined these mtts, puts off new recs from playing them.
