Bubble rush rake, yes or no?
PokerStars MTT Thread Quote

Are you having any hope, they gonna change the rake in a new format? Right after the overraked KO Hyper SNGs stayed mostly the same , or when they introduced 5minute time zoom? Or got rid of any time tournament that is over 60 minutes? Or never adressed the turbo rake where regs are askin for over 2 years?

Oh let's not forget PLO Rake and the SNE fiasco.

Yeah I guess lowering rake in one format might be a realistic option for them without going "broke".

To follow up on this, the chat has started and the first action is converting some tournaments from 6-max to 9-max. Overall, nine tournaments will be converted beginning Monday. The effect of this change is that 17% of the daily PLO8/NLO8 schedule will now be 8 or 9-max.

I'll analyse these changes after a period of a couple weeks and we'll continue from there. You can find the converted tournaments by typing "New Structure!" in your text filter.

I could increase level times around the final table. Is this a common feeling among players here? I'll see if I can observe a few...

I passed this on as soon as you posted it, by the way. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

I think you make an interesting point. Last year, we would not have considered running it as re-entry during WCOOP. At the very least, we'll have the discussion going into next year's series. Do not hesitate to bring it up nice and early next year.

I've removed the first level beginning next week. I do not think this will impact how many players join early, but I trust your expertise that the experience at the end of late registration is still acceptable.

Two Win the Button majors have been added beginning Saturday, October 1st. They will begin at 12:30 and 12:45 ET with $55 and $5.50 buy-ins. There's already a plethora of higher stakes tournaments on Saturdays around this time so I wanted to stick to mid-stakes for this addition. I think $55 will fit well in between the $215 Weekender, Big $109, Hot $162, Bounty Builder $109, and the $320 Saturday KO.

I'm still always reading and digesting every post in the thread, it is just easier to type a batch response. Plus, I can see who reads my posts and who doesn't. :P

nice move with win the btn mtts. thanks.

also i noticed some of the bubble rush tourneys arent in different color and its total entrants dropped significantly. i also noticed sometimes i just miss to play some of them as i doenst recongize those are bubble rush mtts as it seems like a std freezeout. like the 20:25 $11 CET one which has $1.7k ffor first in the first week and now its only $1.1k or smthg, and i still missinng to play sometimes. it doesnt need to be in different color if not a major, but at least put the bubble rush title under the tab: speed (where is 'Turbo' now)

Is there any chance on getting Zoom Turbo SNGs like there used to be on Full Tilt? They had 135-man Rush SNGs at first, later they changed them to "On Demand" tournaments (SNGs with a late reg.), buy-in levels $4.40, $11, $26. They were always very popular and there isn't anything comparable on the market. Would be great if you could think about that.
