Set-up - Mid tournament, Blinds 300/600 N.L. Hold'em, about 20 people left. I am 4th in chips at my table. I have $3300 in chips, I am UTG, with 6 people at the table.

I went all in with K10 off figuring that I was about to get hit hard by the blinds and that K10 off was an above average hand. The only other option I had was to fold and wait. Regardless of how the hand turned out, my big question is was it too much of a risk to push with that hand?

Have a look at some push/fold charts, like the one in Kill Everyone.

And you should post hands using the hand converter in future.

Pushing this UTG with 5.5BB's would usually be fine, but why is everyone so shallow?! What are the payouts?

Just shove, if you are 4th in chips (at your table) with your stack size... There must be some serious nits.

It's a weekly poker league here in Seattle with about 30 people playing. People get $3000 to start. Blinds start at 25/50 and lasting for 20 minutes(no antes, 3 places paid,points earned toward being in final $500 touney). One of the neat things about this league is that they have a "televised" final table that we can watch through the league site.

There were about 18 people left on three tables, and the blinds had just hit the spot where people were starting to have to shove.
