What are you doing?

What read do you have that you don't want to raise this pre? Guess he's calling very wide and not giving up easily?

If that's the case, what's ur plan for the rest of the hand on the flop? Hoping to check it down from there? Cause I can't imagine ur looking to bluff.

Also, if ur willing to c/c that flop, why not stab at it?

As played, I fold the river. BvB in an unraised pot, it is very hard to narrow his range down. He could easly have a random two pair on the river, or decided to vbet his Kx.

I like completing pre here because of the stacksizes between hero and villain. If we had villain covered I'd certainly raise pre. I like folding on the flop here though, but as played, why wouldn't you take a shot on 5th street?

Why's it matter that he covers us?

I fold the flop but I like the river call.

because we're OOP and a villain with 30bb's automatically has a wider range when defending his blinds, rather than a 15bb villain.

Is this standard with QJ?
What is the difference between the two hands?

so, it's not that he has us covered then? Just because you think he has a wide range?

.. and we really don't wanna play a marginal hand like this OOP against a very good player if called. The risk/reward-situation here is just bizarre. By raising here and getting a fold we're increasing our stack with a lousy 5%.
With raising and getting a call, we're clearly in unnecessary trouble.

I think flop is bad. Preflop is okay and I don't mind either. On river his range is usually TP+ or a bluff if I am calling with qj I should call with Ace high.
