Over shove? Over shove?

Did I over shove here against another big stack? How could I have extracted more value? I had the short stack on a range of 50% and Utg at 30% calling range against my all in.

Standard, WP. You gotta shove here to balance ranges. You want to be able to shove AQ and 88-JJ in this spot without being readable.

Agreed. Any 4betting less than shoving will probably be more fishy than a shove

Trying to extract more value would be a mistake.

Disagree somewhat with the other posts. I'm less concerned about balancing ranges at the $5 level than I am about getting max value out of this hand now.

Pushing is fine/good, but 3 or 4xing the initial raise makes it easier for villian with a 7k stack to stick in another 1.2-1.8k to see a flop and make more mistakes later.
