Playing in a 320 person tourny on Full Tilt, there were about 240 left. I was towards the top, in about 40th place. Previous hand Jaeme was third in chips, and lost a lot with a huge bluff (he just moved to our table, don't know anything else about him)

I need to know how I should have played this. I was thinking he wanted his chip lead back.

(P.S!!!!: I'm VERY new to online poker, and don't play poker often in general but I'm eager to learn and become a good player, haha).

your limp pre isnt particularly good because K9o is an extremely difficult hand to play in any position.

as for your flop play, im baffled, i guess...thank god you arent the worst person playing at the table.

im not particularly fond of your flop raise...you have a bad king...

he plays his hand like a donk plays a club draw too, which gets there on the river and you still call, you also beat very little on the river, except a bluff...thank god he shows up with j4hh? *shakes head*

you excercise no pot control at any point of this hand and all you have is top pair, **** kicker.

with all that said, you seem to have read the player well, and you have his history down which is hugely EV, so ill give you credit for sticking to your read and taking down the pot.

also, if you feel comfortable limping ont he button with a crappy king (lord knows i do it all the time), then by all means, but most people find these hands to be trouble hands for a reason.
