Yea, I had a kid wearing a MavenVT patch at my last table of the day. I guess they teach you to open 4x from EP and open limp the button. Kid just seemed really uncomfortable at the table and didn't play too well. I feel like it could've been his first live MTT.

its sick how you just play perfect poker all the time and get **** on by the bad beat gods constantly

ended at 61,275. I spewed down to 13 or 14k early and got really lucky to not get in any semi-cooler spots to bust. It sucks really bad if you guys have to play 10 handed tomorrow, has that ever happened in the ME before (kevmath)? gl to those who survived or play tomorrow

I had a dude sit down with the Maven patch and also an ari patch or something. The drunk dude asks him what vt means, he says "virtual training" then I look at him and ask him if he was paying them 1k/month or whatever. he just looked confused. he nitted it up all day though and didn't give anything away

i don't see how they don't sell out, unless they somehow bump the cap to 3500+, there were 26xx reg'd when i did 20 min ago and a steady stream of regs.

Day 1c Chip Counts

Foxwoodsfiend had a nice start.

People also critizised me, when I thought GLIII would be in TOP 1% of the field and he had also a nice start.

And how does there being more chips in play matter at all? Do you realize that we only play at 1 table at a time, and there's several days more after Day 2, where the field combines? Not to mention 10 handed would be both more uncomfortable, and forces one to play tighter, and that doesn't benefit a skilled player, so it would be harder to have a big stack for Day 2.

fix your sarcasm detector T-Mac, 10 handed would suck azz

Headed to the bank in a minute. Willing to play 15 handed in the parking lot if I have to, just don't lock me out.
