+1

Hour earlier would be perfect for it. Would only minimally clash with 22r.

new structure on the 5.40s is perfect, pls expand it to the 2.70s and 1.35s

Why? It is annoying and should be hand for hand, but if it was the same for everyone and others adapted better then not sure how it was just you negatively impacted?

as an observant player it is VERY annoying to be FORCED to stall as a short stack where stalling is not even normally and SHOULD NOT BE an option.

I mentioned the bug itt like 5 or 6 times itt and it still happens daily so its getting frustrating okay, im prob not entitled to **** but its def costing me equity in some spots (and obv earning me a little in some too)

hot 109 got 22.5k prizepool last night on a $10k guarantee, does it smash the guarantee that hard every day? might be time to up to $15k if so

ye played it first time in a while today too. was weird to not have H4H as all others have when already ITM. maybe its a glitch when just 9 pay?
04-30-2015 , 06:29 PM
the tournaments have a set minimum number of entrants that must be reached in order for hand for hand to kick in when 10 players are left. This number usually coincides with 9 players being paid but I guess for the 109 7.5k they have set that number too high.

regardless, it's my opinion and pretty much every single regular i've asked that: any full ring MTT where late registration is closed should go hand for hand at 10 players remaining. whether 6, 8, 9, 10, 35 or 75000 people are getting paid, h4h needs to kick in at 10 left. every damn time.

h4h ends late registration so this must be considered for some small field mtts, but GIVEN late reg is closed for an MTT, h4h MUST kick in at 10 left/ft bubble (obv 7 left for 6max etc etc)

If six pay why is H4H so important with ten left?
04-30-2015 , 07:06 PM
you have 2 tables of 5 players competing for 9 spots at a final table. if you need me to explain any further than that let me know.
04-30-2015 , 07:07 PM
hand for hand at 10 left = ALWAYS NEUTRAL
sometimes not having hand for hand at 10 left = PEOPLE GAIN/LOSE EDGES SOME OF THE TIME
04-30-2015 , 07:16 PM
in a live 100k bird with like 60 runners/5 paid full ring, i'm like 99% sure at 10 left it will go hand for hand to avoid stalling/other things. can anybody confirm if in this situation the tournament would indeed go hand for hand?

maybe i am just stressing over nothing or some **** but i'm fairly damn certain that if one table has a higher hands per hour than the other there are going to be serious edge differences for certain players/stack sizes, compared to if hand for hand was in play and both tables have identical hands per hour
04-30-2015 , 07:21 PM
you're obv right... lol

this is obv correct, but I find myself hating it more when 11 are left and I'm mid-stacked at the 5-handed table. Of course, if we extend h4h to these spots then someone's going to complain about when there are 13 left, and life becomes a massive h4h borefest.

Ok, this is what I assumed you meant. But this can happen with 11 left and there is a six to five disparity between the tables.
04-30-2015 , 07:37 PM
i can see your points, but that doesnt change the fact that if things were changed from the current situation, to; ALWAYS h4h at 10 left assuming late registration is closed, it would be a HUGE improvement.

at the very least fix it so its gonna go h4h at 10 left with 9 paid 100% of the time, that seems like a given................... it is the damned exact money bubble

anyway thanks for having the discussion about this, i'm glad i am not crazy and other people somewhat agree it is a problem. maybe bryan can chime in and give me/us a response as this problem seriously bothers me and hinders my playing experience significantly. i do not want to have to stall for 20 seconds every hand in order to make the optimal play, if it's avoidable, but maybe that's just me...

and the decision was to NOT introduce these new tourneys now to show SCOOP players that you've improved the schedule to actually get them to want to play the other 11 months?????

Bryan, thanks for making the changes to the structure for the turbo knockouts. However, at 2pm today UK time, there were two $1.35 turbo KOs running, one with the old structure and one with the new. Presumably someone forgot to delete the old. Interestingly though they both beat guarantee which should say something about the demand for micros tournaments and perhaps there aren't always enough on.

micros arent enough
