In response to player demand, we are introducing six new hyper speed Sit & Gos.

6-Max $3.32 + $0.18
6-Max $14.41 + $0.59
6-Max $96.49 + $3.51

9-Max $1.39 + $0.11
9-Max $28.77 + $1.23
9-Max $96.32 + 3.68

We will monitor the impact of these new Hypers on our Turbo liquidity over the coming weeks. A decision will be made by mid-March as to whether or not to make any additional changes to the Hyper offering.

Cool stuff, however, I think many of the ppl would have preferred a $60 level before the jump to $100, as I think the $60 level is much more liquid. But regardless, thanks for at least listening to us.

People absolutely love the concept of lotteries, I think it would attract new players, but I obv aint sure about that.

I am not the biggest fun myself but deffenitly this would be a great idea. I saw this promotion on party poker, they gave you a card witch you could scratch after every couple of points. You could scratch them whenever you want.

The iron man thing would be good for us regulars but would not atract new players.

The 9-max 30's aren't going off a whole ton, so adding 15's would probably kill that liquidity unless it's the weekends, etc.

On initial glance, they seem to have anticipated things pretty well (at least as far as weekday peak traffic).

that is stupid reasoning. 30$ were added today, there is nothing to be killed yet. I am 100% sure that 15$ would run several times more often than 30$ do (so from hypers point of view that would make stars more money, they werent added for some other non hyper-pool related reason),

there are plenty of players that were forced to grind 7$ for months lol and they dont have 10-15k to jump into 30$. while they would insta jump into 15$ cose they still will be soft and wont require 500 buyins... 200-300 is enough, so thats 'grindable' on 7$, while grinding a 30$ bankroll is several months work assuming no cashouts.

How is it stupid reasoning to state that adding a new buyin level ($15 9-max hypers) just below one that doesn't run a whole lot off that bat ($30 9-max) could kill the liquidity in that game ($30 9-max)? It's more like "duh".

If you've been waiting for months for Stars to add a new buyin level that you want to play ($15 9-max) and that might get a ton of traffic, and you're pissed that Stars didn't do it, that's a whole other issue.

From the looks of it, Stars was more worried about the effects on liquidity in 9-max Turbos than 6-max, hence they skipped that extra level for now. Whether that was a mistake or not.
