I'd appreciate an answer to this please...

agreed, Im struggling to see why this would be such a big issue. Given the current popularity of this format I'd expect even most recreational players to appreciate the break. The loss in revenue of a 5min per 120min break would be more than accounted for by the increased volume from 18 man regulars

Oops, I guess I missed this, sigh.

Thanks

Mind you I'd still be interested if there was any chance in this being before the end of the year. Would be nice to know for 2014 plans.

Hello all,

Hope you all have had a good week and that you hit your fair share of Golden Sit&Gos. Hopefully you will also have time to check out this week’s Q&A:

If you increase the rake they'll be a nightmare because people don't like change so too many regs will continue to play them and they'll just become barely beatable
We are not currently considering adding rake to MTTSNG rebuys. What I did, was asking a theoretical question to identify source of motivation for the request to add more rebuy tournaments. We believe that many such requests are motivated by the lower effective rake % for these tournaments.

The answer to this is unfortunately 'No'. We do have it on our list of things that we want to develop, but I will be honest and say that its priority is low.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, I don’t know if anyone’s noticed, but we have eliminated the three second pause that occurred after the first hand of all tournaments. Hopefully it works without any problems, but if there are any issues with this, I would like to hear from you in a PM.

Thanks,
Baard

I played about 200 of them this week, and zero of them were Golden. I played tonn during the last promo, and still not a single Golden one. What are the actual odds of getting one?

Hello all,

Another week in the books, and not unexpectedly, another question to answer:

Didn't mean to ignore you, but I will admit that I missed this particular post a couple of weeks back. My apologies for this.

Is this a suggestion that the rest of you are getting behind? I would consider making such a change only if a clear majority of the players thought of it as an important improvement.

Thanks,
Baard

BB1k would be an improvement in my opinion. A more important improvement would be adding a break to 18 mans though.

Completely. Please add this level.

Surely it has to all be sync together every hour? Wouldn't be any good if your in a few that have been running for a while and just joined a few more.

The t1000 level would be great. It doesn't affect that many players and allows for a bit less variance during 2-4 handed play.

Please apply this to all 18 mans (including non-holdem games as well), specifically the NLO8 and PLO8 18 mans.

Thanks

Another topic to bring up, Baard.

Is there a chance of spreading games non-NL Holdem at nano stakes?

You have the $0.10 PLO 240 man and that's it. The next possible buyin is a $1.00 NLO8 45 man.

I had a friend that wanted to try out NLO8 and the only games he could participate in was at the $1.50 level and he inevitably went on to bust his $50 roll after 20 ish games. This should NOT happen.

You shouldn't limit a player's ability to play other games due to lack of bankroll. As the biggest online poker site, you should offer players at all levels variety so they can move up to the bigger games.

Is there any chance of implementing some of these games to give nano players a shot at learning games other than NLHoldem?

1. $0.25 HORSE non-turbo (160 man)
2. $0.25 NLO8 non-turbo (180 man)
3. $0.50 NLO8 hyper-turbo (180 man)
4. $0.50 PLO 6-man turbo (60 man)

I feel that the two 25 cent games would be a great introductory level for players to try out these games at a slower pace. The 50 cent NLO8 is a tournament that would appeal to all players (from nano to mid stakes). The 50 cent PLO as a 6-max turbo would be quite fun for new players and would fill up quite often.

Add the 1k level and introduce bi hourly breaks in 18 mans

At first you said bi hourly breaks were in the "development pipeline" and then next post was saying that nothing it going to happen about this for a long time and its not a priority. It seems like a pretty clear priority between the majority of 18m grinders posting on this forum, so what is it that makes it not a priority?

0.50c turbo 180mans and $1 reg speed 180mans appeared in the lobby today? Nice idea IMO.

Are there any other new games that I have missed?

Would be great to get a 180 BI level in between the 2.50 and the 8.

love the $1 and 50c 180s

I do think they could of been advertised though especially if you market it to the more recreational or new depositers

Hello, is it possible for for 180s opened right before the end of an hour to start after the break and not during the break?

+1 but for all games that have breaks if they are within 1minute of the break it's frustrating to have a game pop up and not be able to leave when you aren't focusing on the clock getting close to the break to pause registering with SNG wizard.

Stars stance is that they won't have games start on break as they think it's a change that recreational players wont like. I think that's ridiculous personally but I expect that's the answer you'll get. A recreational player that plays 3 tables will want a sync break as well surely

Make the Non turbos $11 180s SNG a Super KO as $5 - $5 - $1, they barely run and it would be a nice atempt to induce traffic to those

progressive superKO and you have a deal

either of the above would be fine

Stars is the sync breaks happening in 18 mans? If so, how often and when will it be implemented ? Any idea?

Could you please tell us, are you currently thinking about adding another buyin level in 180 man rebuy? Can we look forward to introducing higher stakes in near future?
