11-28-2011 , 02:13 AM
lacky,

About 98% sure. sevnfigures was just one of his party names.
11-28-2011 , 02:15 AM
cmon lacky this isn't the matrix

bones, big 10k post prepared?
11-28-2011 , 02:19 AM
Had one but the doorbread thread in hsplo covered most of it. Then I was gonna post my glass collection, but just posting that in mttc anyway. I'll probably just use it to troll someone in nvg. It'll be a good representation of how I've spent the last 8k posts.

Yeah, that was imcastleman. Played a ton against him and Giga waayyy back in the day. Think it was on that account that I played him in the HU thing when you won the Party weekly leaderboard and we split the prize money and played to see who got the right to play the next weekly winner.

Cue Springsteen

You're not playing pca In Jan I guess right?
We booked yesterday, although I'm obv not playing in it.

Nice life Inya. I love how it's so casual. Crush that thang boyeeee. Imcastleman seems nice, and that run to get SNE was out of this world.

Had a great time with entim, learned some good poker stuff too. Also pretty easy to tell how he got so good and is going to continue to do so. I know it's probably too late or not feasible for a lot of guys here but living with other poker players is a huge thing for your development and growth.

I've always wanted a decent-good player for a roommate so bad. I used to live with my friend who I taught poker to from scratch (didn't even know the rules) and had him crushing the $20s but that arrangement was pretty one-sided in his favor.

If I do Europe I really would like to have at least 1-2 good players as roommates who actually like discussing strat.

Thanks!
Well there is a WPT there as well that starts Dec 1st so I'm trying to book flights in time to play that. It is a 3500E re-entry but I'm probably just going to play 1b mostly due to not being able to leave home until Wednesday (and not wanting to dust off an extra 3500E in buyins on the trip). EPT starts around the 5th.

First time in 5 or so years not playing PCA. Kind of a bummer but its so expensive and the weather can be pretty annoying sometimes. Instead I'm going to an inclusive place in the DR that week for a fraction of the price with GF and bunch of her family/friends and sending in the brothers to ship all the PCA gold. Plus I've never done Aussie Millions and really hope I can do that plus take a month and see Australia. If I did PCA feel like it would be squishing a lot into January/Feb.

With all the PCA hate I have to say every year I tell myself I won't go. Every year I have gone and had a great time and come back with a really big hotel/live poker bill but never regret it. I'm sure your gonna have a blast.

It wasn't cheap but is going to look amazing when I frame it and put it beside my wall mounted guitar. Think this is the last cool thing I am buying for my house for a bit and would consider it finally furnished after 2 1/2 years.
Its going to look so amazing, I know Ill be jealous every time I see it.

Guess that might be a sign that a break was needed/is needed every now and then. Got the idea from all the caffeine cycling talk in the SNE thread. Anyone do that sort of thing regularly? Hoping the next "off period" is a little less bad.
I probably have single digit coffee's per year, and try to avoid soft drinks too. When I did have a starbucks once at the rio, it made me have to piss and **** immediately and I noticed my heartrate elevating more at the table. Seeing several gfs who literally need it every day in the morning made me thankful my body just runs on its own rhythm ... however unhealthy that rhythm may be.

A friend of mine is on sick leave from work, and wanted to play online poker to pass the time. When his cc declined gambling transactions I xfer'd him the $ because he was itching to play and didnt want to wait sorting things with his bank. I told him to email stars about the 1st deposit bonus, and I was very surprised when he told me that stars would not allow it because players could 'recycle' money. I was even more surprised when I emailed them requesting they make an exception and they declined. Obviously I am not trying to scam stars for a small deposit bonus representing a micro % of my br, but the bonus would mean a bunch to my friend. They usually get things right but this is an example of not looking out for the customer

What actually happened to gigabet?

+1 sippin tim has a sharp poker for sure.

For development having poker housemates is good i am sure. But i think it can be a bad thing as well as ur whole immediate world can get consumed by it.
Its good to have some balance imo

i don't think it can be a bad thing as well... i think not having a life would be the culprit in that scenario.

Thought it was obv this is what i meant? Perhaps i worded it badly....

But yeah this, it becomes some peoples entire life with nothing else which is kinda sad.

Hope you are doing better than him. His post made me depressed.

Maybe I got good table draws, but when I played Aussie Millions in 2009 I thought it was close to Main Event soft. Renting a car and driving Great Ocean Road on the "wrong" side of the road for the first time ever was pretty cool too, even if I missed the "Josem Bus Tour" of a year earlier.

Is this a myth? When I played ME'10, only table I was at all day: no one older than 28, and Duhamel.

sample size perhaps?

Yeah, you got a bad draw. Happened to me too when I played Day 1D that year and regged the afternoon before (or whatever you'd call that not-so-random occurrence).

I've heard this as well and getting out of Canada in the winter seems like a good play.
11-28-2011 , 03:37 PM
The two times I played it, it was soft but not main event soft. I also played when Full Tilt was offering packages where they hooked you up with hotel and flight. That probably brought a few fish in. Besides the few American and aussie fish almost all non aussies were solid. Probably still 100x softer than PCA.
