I have numerous external drives as well as cloud storage so I don't need a large hard drive. I want something that will last 3 or more years without needing upgrading or replacement.
I'm looking at the Macbook Pro 13" or 15" and the Macbook Air 13" right now. Seems like the Air has everything I would need and is quite a bit lighter. Is there a PC equivalent that I should be considering?
Ultrabooks - basically a range of PCs that copy the MBA model.
I believe the Ivy Bridge (newest generation of Intel processors) range of Ultrabooks should be out around June 6th. These will offer faster speeds with (slightly?) better battery life compared to Sandy Bridge (current) models.
I would wait to see what is announced, and then decide if you want to buy a new model or buy a superseded model for a discount.
