I agree that it was stupid of me to point out these suburbanites' lack of Twitter followers. I certainly don't claim to be anybody of relevance on there, either. I hardly use my Twitter account! I still think they're moronic people who make me want to live in the city instead.

Aside from my posts today, am I really a bad poster overall? The goal isn't to be well-liked. I think I contribute a lot to this forum -- one thing that immediately comes to mind is my analysis of the rake in turbos.

Your post to Tendler was probably the douchiest thing I've ever read on 2+2 and these last 2 posts seem kind of betgoey in vibe (how he keeps posting in the Munk vs Betgo thread asking what he did wrong).

I don't think I "attacked" anyone besides TheTender31. I admit I'm a slight douchebag but I'd like to think I also keep things interesting. I think that I made some fair criticisms of people who are bad at the Internet that unfortunately got lost amidst my arrogance.

This is not just directed at Ricky but just something that I personally feel poker players overlook in general; We got incredibly lucky!
The fact that we were at the exact right place where you can make so much money playing a game and just have to be in top 5% is so extremely rare and fortunate. People who are top 1% in a lot of sports and games makes a fraction of what even fairly mediocre mtt regs with good work ethic can make. I think thats why I disagree so strongly with your post Ricky, I feel like 99/100 times I would probably more or less had been one of those guys but just way lucky to find poker. Obviously you have a great work ethic and are a smart guy but I think the whole point is that those qualities does not necessarily mean you will get a great job anymore, there are just no guarantees for that in 2012.

Do you think that you would be able to just hang out with your bf all the time and travel across the country even if you hadn't found poker? I feel like your outlook more is that you havent been lucky because you have accumulated wealth playing 33q and late 109 turbos and having good work ethic/being smart and never relied on winning a big live tournament, but think about how lucky you have been to find (and for online poker to be there) in the first place!

Its ok Ricky. Even at your douchiest you still keep it interesting.
