To the girls I doubt it. I love the youtube disclaimer from the guys who produced it:

Old Bailey Productions did not create any of the audio or lyrics for this video. We produced the video as a favor.

well i meant its not a bad business idea to try and get several million hits and get that youtube ad money :/
04-19-2012 , 01:13 PM
Basically all reality shows make money on the fact that people like watching people do stupid things, so it's not a bad business decision

Speaking of business decisions, I'm thinking about/in the process of starting my own business(es)

I know many on here have ventured into the world in one way or another, if anyone wouldn't mind emailing me a bit I'd appreciate it. Just solid basic business planning advise and what not, I can talk about my specific ideas one on one

You know I'm there for you bro. Maybe you should just spill it to the whole forum. Back in the day, we used to just start a thread and put (OT) in the title. I think you could do that without getting banhammered.

Ahhh, the good old days. I liked to think of myself as an OT specialist, .

I could be wrong, but I think they mean it as a joke. "We're just like you, except we're hot." It's like a SNL skit.

What is that accent? New Jersey? Long Island?
04-19-2012 , 05:23 PM
Also, and you can discount this as the raving of an old guy who has daughters not much younger than those girls who also like to write songs and make videos of themselves, the song is clever and it sounds better than a lot of crap you hear.

I think it's two teens whose parents have told them they have amazing voices and performing skills and paid someone to produce a video for them. I think its supposed to be somewhat tongue-in-cheek but mostly an actual video they think is good.
04-19-2012 , 05:39 PM
I think they don't care if it goes viral, which is probably what they were hoping for.
04-19-2012 , 05:41 PM
I'm confused are they singing for their hot friends?

The one on the right is going to be pretty cute for a while. The one on the left is headed for horseface-city, and not the long skinny horseface but the big giant jaw Paula Poundstone version. I see raspy-voiced used-up fat-butt sorority skank in her immediate future.

Anybody got a decent primer on DoNs? Thinking about adding a few while I'm playing and want to make sure I can at least breakeven in them.

Spot on sir, spot on

ditch Digger you don't need a primer for dons, you're a smart dude. Tighten up a touch, play a few and figure it oot yourself. I know little of your game, but I promise you'd be a winner at the 5s/10s and a lot of the 20 games too imo

ill def shoot you an email when im (more) sober. theyre not super secretive, one is a media production company, which i have plenty of knowledge of and a solid and what i think is an untapped market that needs media content. i have a partner who has an existing company that i would basically be a client of until i could be my own stable company, and hed bring in jobs and take a cut for now.

the other is a tech start up idea ive been working on for a few years that i guess ill be more secretive about but basically need a back end programmer and then some seed money and then its all gravy

Here's a fun question. Why do governments collect taxes? Hint: it's not to pay for government spending.

Spoiler:
Governments of sovereign states can print as much money as they need. They collect taxes to neutralise the inflationary effect of public spending.

NB the things that are taxed and the way taxes are raised satisfies other purposes such as wealth redistribution, behaviour modification etc
