I haven't made it clear in my original post, thought I had. It's highly likely this kid is stealing the dairy products from a legit milkman, then dumping them outside the homes of his own "customers" in the hope of getting paid. Like I say, I thought I'd implied this more obviously in my initial story but I guess such a situation is kind of unique to the area I live in.

So a few months ago, just after Christmas in fact, a dodgy-looking kid in a tracksuit knocked on my door and asked me "ey mate, you got a milkman?" I replied in the negative.
"Get it from the supermarket do yer?"
I nodded.
"I can get yer milk for like a quid a litre. Whenever you want it."
I was amused by his secretive nature; it was like he thought he was selling crack or something. I told him I wasn't interested, and suggested he try the couple across the road. Never seen nor heard from him since.

Anyway, for the past 2/3 months I've been receiving occasional, seemingly arbitrary deliveries of milk and other related items. Sometimes he comes at 2am and leaves a litre of semi-skimmed, sometimes it's a 500ml carton of full cream with a side order of orange juice while I'm at work. He's an unpredictable chap, and he seems determined to provide me with dairy products come hell or high water. Sometimes they've perished by the time I discover them, but mostly it's decent quailty stuff. Especially since it's free!

I guess one day there'll be a fun showdown, when he decides to bill me for the stuff he's been leaving on my doorstep since mid winter. But until then, I must say I'm loving the freeroll! He even left me some fromage-frais the other day, and I haven't had them since I was a kid. They were great. Hoping for some milkshakes this week.
This is brilliant.

You should def watch it.
