grats brah. figured my EV is ~7900 or so, and in a 5 way chop i doubt very much i'd get that. seems like a shame to just waste money like that. plus vegas is vegas

well pinnacle has the ML for kentucky at -138

12787 to the winner
4650 to 2nd

8137 difference...assuming i bet half that on the KU ML it would be 4068 to win 2498

so kentucky wins i get 7598, uconn wins i get 8719...yea i guess it's higher

looked in the HSNL thread and it doesn't seem active enough to where i can really afford to place my hedging hopes on someone wanting to take action in the thread.

if anyone has a pinnacle account and is willing to place a 1-2k bet for me at halftime of the uconn/KU game, pm me. i will offer a % of my total profits regardless of who wins. not sure what's fair so lmk

initially i was gonna fly to vegas for saturday, then i came to my senses and realized spending a grand just to make a 2k bet is probably the stupidest idea i've ever had

We can even tell ZBTHorton so he adjusts the payouts for the 2 of us. Doesn't affect the other places at all....

so you'd be betting 2000 to win 2600...

so payout if uconn wins would be 10187.50 to me, 2600 to you
payout if kentucky wins would be 10787.50 to you, 6650 to me?

When this is all over...ANYONE WHO WINS A PRIZE NEEDS TO:

PM Me what they won, in what bracket. Tell me the name of the bracket that won. Tell me the name they sent the x-fer to. And the name/info I need to transfer the prize to.

You will not get your money until all of that is done.

How are ties determined?

For example 2nd and 3rd have the same number of points, do they evenly split 2nd and 3rd place money or is there some way of ranking one bracket higher than the other?

I would guess with the tiebreaker you entered into the bracket.

At the end of the game, if two or more players finish with the same overall point total, the following system will be used to break the tie:
1. Closest to the total points scored by both teams in the final game
2. Closest to the total points scored by the winning team in the final game
3. Closest to the total points scored by the losing team in the final game

That's how yahoo always does it, I'm sure you guys could talk to the commish if you'd rather split money.
