but just wondered what you would do with it,
i can jam him,
but he's been tight and is solid,
call is too weak,
raise and he could jam me...
too good to fold... no not really... as i said, its a nothing but just curious how you play

If he shoved his 11bbs I'd call, but when he raises 3x I don't think he's stealing here. He's definitely not folding down to 8 bbs to a 3bet. What range do you think he has raising from MP as shortie? got to be pretty tight? I think if you jam you're a flip at best, and I read somewhere it's better to flip for your stack than half of it...

In $6 some ppl may be bad enough to raise fold here. Or at least raise without a plan. I am shoving here.

What makes you say this? I see people do it all the time.

In a $6? I'd say he's raising his normal MP range, probably {66+,AT+,A8s+,KTs+,QTo+,JTo+}, and he's just not smart enough to be in a shove/fold mode.

Wrong. We're pretty far ahead of his raising range, and we stand up pretty well against his calling range. Add in our FE, and there's no other move here.

If you think his range includes JTo, then we're seeing two completely different villains here. Remember OP said tight and solid. If you base ranges from buy-in amount of tourney and not specific reads, then we play don't play the same style.

-edit to be specific, my "tight and solid" raise range from MP for the villain at 11 BBs is AQ+ and TT+. Personally I shove instead of raise top ~10%, but that's how I'm reading the villain here.

Dude, remember that villain is opening an un-raised pot. {TT+, AQ+} is a tight range UTG, and it's an absurd range to put anyone on from MP unless you know for a fact that this villain always open shoves worse with ~10bb's.

Trivial shove.

I 100% agree with you that the range would be wider if he shoves (I'd snap with AQ).Are there any stats on him from OP? My tables right now have people either 30/20/x or 8/4/x, so I just imagine tight to be tight, I guess I'm a bit nitty here.
