Villain's been short for a while, and has folded a couple times in late position in ATC shove spots. Has shoved a couple times without being called, but I haven't seen the min-raise from him, and its scaring me.

Shove or fold?

I think you go with your read and fold. Shorties who limp and minraise this late are usually only doing so with huge hands, (especially if you've seen them push) unless we have a read that they will limp/fold.

It's tough. I think it depends on whether you would call an all-in from him from that position and if you think he is a fish or good.

I would probably fold. I think even calling this type of player's UTG + 1 ship with 77 is pretty marginal so a min raise makes me even more wary.

My range is probably 99+ but maybe even tighter than that since he doesn't understand pushinbotting. Good nitting!

Yea, seems very oddly suspicious. Prob a fold, even though if they shoved it would be a snap over-shove.

Eh, I don't fold <10bb effective very often with a pair to 1 raise.

At best you are racing. Do you want to? You still have good position and time before the blinds hit you. May be you can open shove in the next few hands?

Folding is fine here with your read. It may be a breakevenish shove.

trust your read

against a looser player this would be a snap shove

agreed, plus this 11r is a turbo no? just gotta get it in lighter than usually too, i would fold most of the time but not in a 11r + a turbo.

although a lot of times tight players dont like to min raise, they like to "protect" their hand with a standard raise, i think a read-based fold isnt a bad move but i cant see how shoving is an abolute spew
