This thread is hilarious. Doubt OP got prescribed morphine, its not like doc's are just morphine prescriptions left and right, especially for a ****** headache. OP is ******ed.

Anyways, when I broke my leg I was on painkillers for about 1.5 months and played alot of poker during that period. Personally, I felt like it gave me an edge due to increased focus, zero nervous tension, and no tilt (I don't really tilt anyways but I didnt even get annoyed by beats).

A few major drawbacks:
-Def was really hard to come off them
-Taking them on empty stomach or taking too many made me feel tired and made thinking much harder
-Massive damage habitual opiate use can do to your body

I will clarify, I have a severe neck problem, which causes crippling headaches.

haha i know what the op is tryin to say but saying ppl should try these drugs to play poker is not a good idea...

however i do smoke when i play especially after a bad beat. i do think that weed can make u play worse, i jus think it does help me chill a bit.

drugs MAY help certain ppl but it can also definitely hurt their poker game, as well as ruin lives lol
