Hey guys,

I consider myself a pretty good tournament player and that's also the area where I've had most success over the years, both sng which built my bankroll and bigger MTT's.

However, I know enough about poker to crush the live 2-5 games at my local casino. But this is candyland and not much effort in. Tight abc-poker and über-valuebetting is usually more than enough to turn a nice profit from these games.

My problem is that whenever I play online, say 1-2 nl...I've had a downswing for like 15k hands. (I rarely play CG online and this is for a total of like 6 months)
I play full-ring and usually lie around 19-20/13-14.

What I believe is the problem, is that I've played a LOT of tournaments.
I usually play between 20-40 sngs a day and 3-4 MTTs and i believe that my approach to these games have affected how i attack cashgames.

What would you say is the main difference between solid tournament play and solid cash-game play? (Now we could take the discussion about wether it's good or not to be a "solid" tournament player...I'd probably say it's a bad thing...but I hope you understand what I mean)

The two games (or three), nl cg and nl mtt are completely different in my opinion and I would like to hear your opinions about what the main differences are.

I for instance, believe that a good cash game player would do better in a tournament than a good tournament player would do in a cashgame, but if someone thinks otherwise I'd really want to hear their thoughts.

Cheers
