First strategy post on STT (play low stakes live more than anything, and generally stick to the home poker forum), so forgive me if my presentation of this hand is incorrect.
The betting pattern by my opponents here is confusing. I'm not sure what BB was trying to accomplish by his 3-bet pre. Also, not sure what to think of MP2 on this one. I had him on 88-1010 and little else after his turn bet. The way he bet the turn, I thought he was pot committed, so I tried to get him to get his money in. He elected to fold-wise on his part, but not sure why he was willing to bet/fold there. If you are that scared of what your opponent holds, check/fold will save you chips.
On my end, I thought I played the hand well. However, MP2 had fired two bullets post flop. Was my turn raise correct, or should I have continued to be passive and waited to see what he would do on the river?
