Multi Tabling Multi Tabling

Hi All,

I have heard many players talking about their hourly rate and the volume of hands they need to be playing in order to make a profit. This leads to the fact that players are "multi-tabling", playing up to 30 tables at a time. My question is, if you are playing that many tables, how can you make effective "reads" on other players? Do reads come into it or are you just playing to a formula, simply betting or raising premium hands then betting hard on the flop if you hit it?

To tell the truth, I can play about 4 tables at once and still have some idea about what I am doing.

Nearly everyone playing 15+ tables will just be using a HUD and base their decisions on that.

reads = numbers
cause = time
2+2 = ???

HUD + notes.

In small rooms you know the style of most of the regs. (being a regular yourself), it makes the life easier too.
