I have a question regarding bounty builders and how to make it easier and quicker to calculate pot odds when a bounty is on the line. I watched this video by bencb789 a highstakes mtt crusher
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU12AnPfliM&t=1360s @ 0:28 he has 12big blinds but with his bounty he says that he has rouqhly effectively 7-8 big blinds(here is where im confused. How do you calculate this? if we take for granted that a starting bounty in this case is rouqhly 35k chips or 9big blinds then you would think that you could subtract 9bb with your starting stack 12bb, that however obviously doesnt equate to 7-8bb. Some context to the tournament he is playing, starting stack 100,000 half of your buyin($54) goes to the regular prize pool and half of it to the bounty prize pool($54), if you knock out a player you collect half of the bounty and the other half goes to your head.
