There is a $300 1 in 10 wins $3000 survivor tournament coming up this Saturday at Mohegan Sun.

The only specific strategy I have heard about this came from this thread:

What would the strategy changes be for an event like this as opposed to a regular MTT?

Should there be any adjustments at all until the bubble?

I do not play high variance poker, so I doubt I would ever be the Monster stack, but usually keep at the average stack.

So it's a single table tournament?

I had the same question, is it the top 10% 10 fold? OR just one guy gets the 10 fold profit and 9 people lose.

It is a MTT, but once the bubble bursts, everyone is paid the same amount. So one chip vs 50,000 is all the same once you are down to 10% of the field.

So it's basically a satellite with a cash prize instead of a seat to another tournament. Less need to take risks to build a big stack, play proper satty bubble strategy, EZ game.
