Hi, so i accidently won satellite to this 22$ BI, 200k$ PP, SUPER Deep stack, slow, 5 max re-entry tournament, player pool should be around 3k-5k, entry pool of course should be abit bigger. I've never played in such big tournament, obviously players are tough, i dont have much MTT experience, as im 10NL 6max cash game player, i havent even played with tough players, so i cannot imagine which thinking level these people may be on, how they think and such. Im gonna be absolute fish, so any tips on how to adapt my game to these players? Of course i know general theory of MTTs and such, but never played slow SUPER deep stack tournament in 2k+ player pool.

any tips?

it's not a deepstacked tournament and the field is going to be ridiculously soft.

it's not the starting stack that matters, it's the blind structure, just play as best as you can, the field will be super soft, blinds will catch up because the field will be huge and tournament of this sort can't take 10hr+ so it won't be as 'deepstacked' as you might think, average stack will be very soon 30-40xbb

When your stack is 70bb+ Play your normal cash game hopefully LAG.
40 - 70bb. Tighten up a bit but still looking to steal blinds from LP esp if antes in play.
25 -40bb. Gamble a bit more with the portion of your stack that's above 25bb to get a bigger stack
15 - 25bb Look to 3b shove over loose openers.
<12bb open shove with any hand you want to play which should be wide in LP but ideally have some equity when called ie 67s better than A4o

Steal steal steal and don't ever suddenly slow play a good/monster hand - play it exactly the same way you did your looser hands.

Very broad but a reasonable base. good luck

2 hours already passed, found nice spot for squeezing twice, nice spot for float-shoving turn on a nice board to do it. Also won a big hand with AK against AQ. However already called PF minraises with small pocket pairs bunch of times and never hit.
