149 left started with 488 some odd.
average stack is 14k
Money is top 45.

Villian is 21/18/.8 over 58 hands. He doesn't cold call a lot, but seems to open alot. His ATS is 33%, and he opens for around 2.5bb a lot. I've never seen him open for a minraise or 3bb. He seems kinda decent and is a thinking player. His aggresion is low because he actually hasn't seen a lot of flops in raised pots. It's mostly from limped pots.
So far he's been 3bet once and he folded.
He 3bet someone once and they folded.

What would've been the best line here?

I thought that 3betting him would have a good chance to take it down. If that failed, a cbet also had a good chance of picking it up.
To this point my table image is TAG, although I was moved about 60 hands ago. I haven't shown down a lot of hands and have been kinda card dead.
Last time he raised from the btn, I hesitated then folded. If he noticed he might think I 3bet light.

So yea tl;dr. What should I do?

I don't like 3betting this preflop OOP like this with such a marginal hand. It's not a bad play to do, but against a player who seems to know what he's doing, I dislike it. As played, fold the turn as you did. I wouldn't mind a c/f on the flop though after basically blanking it.
