Heya

Just reading moshmans SNG strat - he says its gd to steal on the button with KJo and A4s with low level blinds (10$ 20$) is this correct early in the tourney...

i really dont think there is much point stealing blinds @ L1 with marginal hands, overall this means u play more hands also, so maybe your opponments will have a looser image of you later game, which could get you into trouble when shoving later on.

This is what I wanted to say.

It also depends on the villains in the blinds. If they defend their blinds much too liberally, raising A4s, or KJs from the button is a value raise and not a steal attempt. You'll win more postflop on average than just the $30 in the pot when you raise preflop.

But if you are truly stealing, than you do run the risk of ruining your image for when you really need the fold equity later.
