40$ home game.. 30ish players.. first hand stacks are all 4k and blinds 25/50

mp2 limp, co raise to 150, i call in the sb w/ KJdd, mp2 calls

qj3r w/one diamond

i check/call 250 and mp2 folds

7c turn

check/check

X river

check/ co bets 825 and i call.. what do you think?

final table hand: 8 players top 6 pay out i have 8500 with 700/1400 blinds no ante and utg shoves 2500 in blind.. folds to me otb with A5o and I shove with delusional hubris.

the sb is a fairly tight guy w/ 20k ish and the bb is a looser guy with 30k but he tends to stay out of my way.

Hand #1. If u call pre, which is prob the most sig decision in this hand, i think the rest is close to std. Did u make anything of his river bet size (825 into 1000?) This looks to me like a huge hand (JJ/QQ) that is trying to make up for the value that was lost by checking behind on the turn. The raise over a limper, sm flop lead, turn check, big river bet is consistent with a big hand IMO. Without a read, i think that i could fold the river to this bet.

Hand#2 std. But i like the "delusional hubris" state of mind that you were in at that moment.
