UTG leads 5k, I shove, fold, ir tank folds.

After break first hand, I'm UTG(40k) 400-800/75a
with AKo(no spade) I open to t1800, squeeky tight mid50s, UTG +2, covers, and 3b to t3600, folds around to me, I eventually call(?). I've played with Vill on another occasion, not sure if he remembers me.

1st hand, i wouldn't play KThh to an UTG raise, but others may differ
2nd hand, looks fine. still over 40BBs, tight V, c/x non-AK flop (or the above).

Hand 1: Fold pre, as played 12k/call.

Hand 2: Looks fine, and raise/GII is fine also.

First hand I am not sure why people are saying fold pre. Call pre and flat flop so far ahead why do you want to shove. What are you afraid of? 2nd hand play the same way.

Flat left less than 2 psb behind..wasn't 'afraid' of getting snapped; only 3 hands have me in bad shape, and one highly unlikely. Realizing all of the equity vs top of his range.
Along with being CL, he had plenty of ante chips; plus 100$ bounty, where he might snap spaz naked draw shoves with mid pair/Ten/draw type hands.
