2.5x your bet? I probably peel one street since you’re getting like really good odds but planning on x/folding unimproved.
If we improve to 2 pair/trips or pick up a gutter we can check/call one more depending on sizing.
Given description, it might just be a fold.
Whether to x/call or bet when we flop top pair depends more on the players then the board. If we have a read that players left to act are super aggressive and like to stab, x/call makes a lot of sense. But most players in these fields I assume play pretty passively so it’s easy to just bet.
