villain just won previous hand w/ AA
over 20 hands villain is 40/10/2.3

villain never folds if he has the 10 and i figure that is the only card that would give me value given how the hand played out.

thoughts?

i hate the river bet, the ten is snap calling u and u losin value from someone wit a nine, im prolly not folding to a shove either tho so i would lead out for 2/3 of the pot wit the intention of calling a shove

I like the river bet. QJ/87 are folding to any bet and a 9 could very well fold to a third barrel. 10 is never folding and is by far the most likely hand that could call any bet so I say maximize value baby!

probably because most of the time 40/10/2.3 = donk

I love the river bet, I think you double through most of the time.

FWIW I don't think a nine is calling 2/3 pot here enough to make that a better play...

I like your line...

You have to bet something on that river IMO and everything else than a shove looks very very strange, so I really like it... To a non-thinking villain this could very well look like a missed draw, and if he happens to have that 10, he won't even think about what your hand could look like and call in a jiffy...

Bet more on the turn to make it easier to get it all in on the river.

Oh wait, you didn't bet the turn at all. I guess a call isn't terrible but I might have raised it up to pot commit him.

wait so he calls u with a ten and folds a nine and probably doesnt have an A, why arent we c/r?? seems like however we do with get the money in vs the hands we hope he has, why not let him bluff with his other hands that wont call very often anyways, we dont look too strong here after our shutdown
