no reads. I was planning to check/raise the turn, but looking back, I think i should have donked the turn. Hows the river?

I like to c/r otf with draws like this..

It often means we can get to the river cheaper than by c/c 2 streets as villain will often check the turn unless he is uber strong.

As played i hate the call otr, we dont beat a lot..

I like a c/r on the flop. You're pretty much 50/50 if he has an ace, but his range includes a lot of air and draws too, so you're favoured on the flop. I don't like c/c because then you're giving up the initiative and pretty much looking to hit your flush, which might not even get paid off. Also then you're guessing at his hand and you're OOP, and he could even outdraw you if he had worse on the flop (like 9x in this case).

I'd c/r to ~14k and get it in either on the flop or shove turn if he just flats.

stacks are great to B3B flop but i think when checking it should be to c/r/c vs the cbet

as played thats the easiest river fold ever since he has nearly no air in his range and his sizing is pretty bad as well which indicates at least Ax, prolly aces up or better

Seems pretty bad to c/r the turn when you fold out all worse but he calls with all better. As played I would just c/f river, but I would almost always c/r/get it in OTF

Oh yeah forgot to comment on river as played. It's a fold.

@furo: wouldn't leading out OTF make him fold his air that he takes stabs with if checked to? Gotta be more value in checking with intention to c/r/c, no?

maybe, maybe he plans on r/f flop. B3B or c/r/c (if he flats shove turn) is both fine imo and prolly gets the same amount of folds and calls.

if he is cbetting 100% we obv c/r. if he does not i think b3b is superior

readless i would B3B here.

What everyone else said bout flop.

River a shocker tho imo. Fold it and be happy.

I don't think villain bets this much with just a pair of aces on the river. Looking at my line it looks soo weak that this pot bet looks soo bluffy. I don't really put him on a pair of aces becuz of his limp pre. I check called the flop because I wants to give him q chance to bluff turn

also if he did have a pair of aces or a 9x I doubt he will check back the turn with such a wet board. This river bet looks like he made a backdoor flush or straight, or it looks like hes making a bluff with a small-mid PP. But based on my line, a pot sized bet on the river is too much for value based on my perceived strength imo. Maybe i should mention that my image is probably pretty TAGGY
