Hero?

Afterwards i dont like my bet on the turn.

But i gave him a lot of J Combos here, as i saw him raising the flop with top pair before (even not with top kicker), which i wanted to get value from.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

so, exactly how many bbs do you want to risk with an overpair?

I call his flop checkraise on the flop and if he keeps firing big I just call down.

Normally i go with your call otf, but as we are so deep, i think villain is raising much lighter, as i have seen before.

Raising from 19BB to 88BB is way to much IMO
Probs checking turn
As played if youve got notes that hes being going crazy on turn/river with top pair then its a call, else fold

But you shouldnt of made the pot this big IMO

The large-ish bet OTF starts this in motion to be a big pot. His stats (although small sample) suggest a pretty aggro player. If you've seen him raise top pair big in another hand, I think you're basically asking to play a large pot by making that flop bet. If you wanted to get him into a large pot situation this deep, then you played it right.

Given the information at hand, I probably check flop and let him fire at me on the two remaining streets; calling down. It keeps his range wide and probably ends up being a medium-sized pot with easier decisions rather than a massive pot with a tough river choice. If he checks the turn then you have to start trying to get value obviously by firing out a decent sized bet.

you're really asking what to do on the river?

you've made your bed. lie in it.

as for the rest of the hand, if you have specific reads that V isn't sizing to 19BB otf with 3x then i love your absurdly large response and the leveling war that follows.

however..

V is playing 35/20 on a 3 orbit sample, not 70/10 on a 10 orbit sample. it's very risky and very high variance. gl if you got AJ to bite, but I doubt this is profitable long term no matter how good it felt.

I made this raise due to a note as he played that exactly like this before with top pair.
Otherwise i agree with you all. I dont like my line afterwards. Way to Big Pot. Should have checked back turn and called river if betted. Thats y i was asking for you opinions. Thanks guys.

Was your note, "check raised top pair on dry paired flop super deep"
Or just, "check raised top pair"

Call flop raise don't reraise. Check back turn, decide river, but probably calling a bet.

Flat the flop check-raise and let him barrel off.

Include this in op next time. Still prob unnecessary/high variance line with given spewy reads.
