Maybe , but if lets say you both play board stragiht A2345 and CL has 6 you split. Not sure best hands wins though, i guess thats written in rules.

I had this happen the other day (Party) when it was 4-handed and assumed it would split it (but it didn't...). Me and another stack of equal size were all-in along with a shorty and a bigstack. The bigstack won the hand and took us all out, but when I checked in PT afterwards I could see no "odd" prize allocated (I was expecting one to be 1/2 way between a 2nd and a 3rd). I think there must be some other way used to decide (like best hand takes higher prize, or first in pot takes higher prize, etc).

Juk

Doesn't it go by chipstack?

IE:

Player 1: 1000
Player 2: 1005
Player 3: 1010
Player 4: 2000

Everyone goes all in, player 4 wins
1st: P4
2nd: P3
3rd: P2

That's how i always thought it was done....

**EDIT**
For equal stacks, I thought it was hands, but maybe it is order?

Was that a test tourney of some sort?

I would have thought that they'd allocate finish positions on proximity to button, like they do with the extra chip in an odd-numbered pot split.

It may even be different for different sites - looking at the above, it appears to have chopped the prize?

Ya it was a test sng before battle of the planets. No rake, so we just did flipaments.

Since this is a 6man 2nd prize (35%) got split between the other 5 players, the extra 2 cents from rounding seemed to be chosen randomly between them.
