Looking at some leaderboards in SS I noticed the increasing number of players coming from Ongame platform.
I.E.: on the 36$-100$ 9-10 seated turbo there are 8 from PS, 7 from Ongame and 5 from FT.

I know some of the regs on PS might have chosen to hide their stats, but I can assume that the same proportion matches the other sites.

Leaving stats behind, is anyone playing on ongame? Is that a good platform to multitable?

How often the games load up?

I play lower limits than you on Ongame, but I can tell you:

1/ Turbos suck. They have three-minute blinds, and way too many players play horribly slowly or have bad connections, so you basically get no hands before you're at push/fold. IOW, ******s play properly without even trying.
2/ There isn't a huge amount of traffic. Lower-limit turbos fill quite quickly but you'd struggle to get the volume higher.
3/ The software is not as reliable as Stars, but it's not horrible.
4/ There's a limit on how many tables you can have open, but I can't remember what it is. Six? Eight? I guess you could have two clients open at the same time though.
5/ You can't resize tables. There are "mini tables", which I find quite playable, but they aren't modifiable.
6/ Can't use PT/PAHUD.

Hope that helps a bit. I think Vers plays a lot on Ongame and can probably tell you a lot more.

Aren't pokerstars stats hidden by default? PT doesn't support ongame tourneys and the software sucks. The structure of the turbo SNGs is very fast. Lots of breakeven bonus whores, lots of terrible players.

1) The turbos def. have high variance and smaller edges than with slower structures, but OTOH you get way more games/h (12-tabling contiuously -> 25 games per hour or so playing turbos).
2) If you want to 12+ -table then you have to mix in different levels or non-turbos at the off-peak hours. Especially if you play $33+ games.
4) 12 cash game tables is the max: you can't open more tables past that except through waiting lists.. I don't think there is really a maximum for tourneys as such. I've played 16 at a time fwiw.
5) I really like the mini tables since PT won't work anyway. It's the best minitable view I've come across.

software is absolutely atrocious. I usually don't do more than 6 b/c I can't deal with the excessive lag. Even w/ 6 tables open it sometimes takes like 2-3 minutes to connect to a table and you miss the first blind level. Unknowns loosen up and seem to adjust a lot better to the rising blind levels which sucks so u get a lot of lighter calls. Bonuses are fantastic though. The players are alright, there are some pretty decent ones and of course a lot of **** ones. A lot of break even bonus whore players too. It's hard to get a whole lot of 54s going at one time while still game selecting. Often the 54s and 33s have like 4-5 regulars in them but usually only 1-2 of them are actually quite good. And yes, variance is a bitch. Also 10 man tables.

I play the 54 turbos on ongame and agree with what has been said here. The levels are a bit to short for the real bad players to stack off early and the software is flat out terrible. You have to be really good to beat the 54s for more than 5%, but the great bonus makes playing there worth it.

Pros: Competiton is fairly weak, bonuses are great.
Cons: Software is amazingly bad, more than 6-tabling is virtually impossible unless you enjoy computer crashes, even 6 tabling is super laggy.
Levels go up a bit too fast, and the games load a bit slow so I have to disperse my play over 3 levels (33-108 turbos)- game selecting is there also tough. Nothing higher than 108 ever runs (I've gotten in 2 215s and 1 320 in 2 months).
All in all if I wanted to play more than 6 tables I couldn't play there, but I don't, so I'm fairly happy there, even if the software drives me nuts.

I play mainly at Towerpoker now, because they have great promotions. The rake in the $54`s is good, and a lot softer than the $108`s, but stay away from the turbos. I know players that have rois around 20% in the $54`s, only 5% in the $108`s, so more pros there. I use pokeroffice, but dosn`t work with mini-view and tables over 5 I have played 11 tables at once, so no limit for that.
