Nice post, got me thinking about things. I don't know why people are ripping you apart on every single detail. Of course there are many different ways to play a hand at different stakes and against different regs. I think this is definitely good advice for low limit SnG players. I appreciate you taking the time to get information out there and have people discussing it.

Folding nines pre flop FTW! Yes, lets avoid all hands that could potentially cause us to have to think about the post flop play.

nice post DD.

i think in this spot vs a decent reg you can safely check/fold the turn. regs are not fallting your ug+1 open real light then messing around very much when you cbet. i suppose on ocassion you will get a pot taken from you when you are ahead but not that often.

kamel - that was way out of line.

I don't mind the "ripping apart", as everyone has different viewpoints, and it just makes me and everyone else better players by looking at situations from different angles. Obviously I don't have all the answers, and like I said, I posted this to see where I may be screwed up. So constructive criticism is certainly welcome.

99, TT, JJ are hands I find tricky to play preflop when I've been 3-bet or shoved over. I think post flop they are usually much more straight forward.
Which is what I said. Unless the other guy's a nit, I'm getting it in every time and advising lowstakes players to do anything else is bad.

(yes, that was a single sentence)
You can always take the option not to read it. It's how I like to discuss long posts though.

That isn't anything like what kamel said and imo his opinion is far stronger than "fold when some guy shoves the turn".

Good post DD and i also like the disagreement, its by looking into the thought process that we improve. DD raises some valid points and both Kamel and drzen also add a lot into the discussion although it does appear confrontational at times.

This thread is much more usefull with their input though

Hey guys what PPs do u raise from EP,MP at early levels? And what PPs do u limp UTG for example?

Good post DD. I enjoyed it. Anything that encourages this sort of debate is great. FWIW open folding 99 here is just lol imo and I don't see anything wrong with you not offering it as an option in your OP. I don't like raising it much either, I just limp then call small raise or fold to a lot of big raises / action etc. I am amazed at Kamels suggestion of a limp-shove pre line. I could see it being an option at 50/100 if the stack configurations are right, but at 15/30 it seems to be a very "out-there" option. I also lol'ed quite a lot when Kamel asked you to give a fold option, then went on to say he isn't even folding 10-8s UTG+1.

Some people like to disagree and rip-apart for the sake of it, often to enhance their own egos. Whilst there are some arguable / debatable points in your OP I dislike the tone of Kamels / DrZens posts in this thread, even though I did enjoy reading their counter arguments.
