Do you not think checking here is better and seeing a free flop since you can't win his bounty??

Its pprobs a set of 3's or a flush draw.

If I had seen anything weird or dumb by this guy in the past 15 hands then I would call.
If not I'm probs just folding and maintaining my stack that i can still hit some bootays.

Have you been playing loose? You said you just moved to the table.
What do you think the CO is doing here? Is he trying to get you to fold or call? the pot is 10BB. he bets 34BB.

Toss a coin. If its heads call. if its tails fold. thats one line you could take.
Do you want to win this tourny? or finish in the money? collect some more bounties.

if ya wanna finish 1st calling here could help you finish first if he shows up with a flush draw.

Thanks guys. I sort of wanted to win (the money is far from life changing in any case) and figured a FD might just do this for FE and possible bounty against a standard c-bet on a relatively dry board. So I called, v turned over KJo and that was that...

I really need to learn to play this type of hand better this deep...

Just check back pre flop right? Why inflate the pot here OOP, you're already HU with the suspected fish.

Flop is tough, I guess you can find a fold 'cos it's a bounty touney and he covers you, so will more likely be trying to put the money in with a value hand than in a freezout where he will more likely be concerned with trying to get value.

My first instinct was to call though ... nasty spot.

Def strange as **** but i'm not surprised tbh. Vil may not have a scooby.

Usually in bounties if im in a spot that i'm unsure/don't know what to do I think I would fold to maintain a stack that can hunt bounties.

Yeah, I'm getting better at that (and actually turning a profit in micro bounties) but still learning the hard way...

Bigger pre or check your option. As played x flop. Fold now.

I think check pre is best with your stack and oop.

Why you guys saying bet fold flop? Do we need to define our range after a 3 bet pre? Can't we check call if we check pre?

There was no 3bet in this hand, and if pot is limped we should be betting flop to protect our hand.

Check pre, inflating pot is just weird when we get flatted always and have to play easily dominated hand OOP. Id probably just check/ call flop see if we can pick up more equity on turn
