JJ - 6 man flop JJ - 6 man flop

Should I have 3bet pf? I was almost certain that all/the majority of these guys would've called my 3bet, and I thought it was too early to shove (blinds 30/60 + 50bb+ stack). The flop looked ok, so I decided to try to narrow the players in the pot a bit, which obv didn't work as I would've thought

Anyway, I didn't put anyone on a 3, a flushdraw is almost always going to be involved here, so I figured I'll commit myself having while having the edge. I couldn't put anyone on JJ+. 88 was possible but really unlikely so I was willing to take my chances.

Thoughts on what I did wrong and why?

pre flop i think is fine.

But donk betting out makes absolutely no sense at all. You must check to the raiser. Then you can see how much action there is and depending on action you could get away from the Jacks.

The way you played this is pretty bad imo.

I'd be happy to 3bet/c preflop with JJ vs a random with 37BB's, considering how much money is in the pot already.

Otf I'd look to c/c, keep the pot small and try to go for value on later streets when ranges are more defined and equity edges are bigger. As played I'm probably folding after MP+2 calls the 21BB shove.

In a 75c tourney with that many players already in the hand i'm 3b/calling pre.

Your flop donk bet is horrible.
