Hand from the big $3.30, bubble was popped about an hour prior. I was shortstacked after going card dead for over the last hour or so, I think that is why I ended up butchering this hand so bad.

Note: Villian seemed like a very aggresive player and already ran 2 bluffs already in these 13 hands.

Planned on Raising 77 and calling off the rest of my stack with just under 20 bigs. Normally I would probably fold 77 here because I am UTG and at a awkward stack size, but even after a small sample size, this table seemed pretty tight.

After the extremely wet flop hits and I decided I wouldn't C-bet here as it is wet and hits villian's range pretty hard.

After he leads out on the turn, knowing his bluffy play style, I thought I would just jam my open ender over the top. I feel like this was a very bad play in hindsight but maybe villian's play style might justify something like this.

Anyways thanks for the help and advice in advance.

preflop I would have folded utg, it's a slow tourney and you will probably get some better spots if you hang on. And unless you hit anything on the flop, 77 is a hard hand to play postflop. Definitely with a 20BB stack.

The flop is indeed very wet and hits your LAG opponents range quite hard. Players with 46/17 stats play a lot of combo's with 89J's in them. Chances are you are already way behind on the flop and there are not much outs you can hit to improve.

But as played I think I would have called the bet on the turn and maybe called a small bet on the river. That way you would still have a nice shoving stack of 11BB in case you loose.

Definitely fold turn... it's not a true open ended straight draw as a 10 also gives any Q a better draw. I probably cbet flop and fold all other streets.

This! Cbet and if you meet resistance shut down! You win if villain missed and pick up the pot. When you check flop you usually face a turn bet and dont know what to do with 77s.
