I recently read another post that brought this situation up. So now I'm thinking, is there a different way to approach hands like these?

SB: t5615
Hero (BB): t6310
CO: t900
BTN: t675
Pre Flop: (t700) Hero is BB with T
4
1 fold,
BTN raises to t650 all in, SB calls t450, Hero calls t250 - or do I shove?
Obv. if we get it HU vs the short stack shover and lose, the bubble continues. But the next hand the SS is in the BB, therefore no fold equity. Does this mean in order to execute this play the SS would have to be in a different seat? How often do you do this play and with what range?
