I want to have a better understanding of ICM. I consider myself a novice. Is there any sites that have quizzes for ICM situations?

Pergesu did an ICM game in about 2007. I don't know if it can be found anywhere anymore.

Im also a novice btw but - If you have poker tracker it has an icm quiz built in which is pretty good for practice. The only thing i find it gives a lot of spots where the correct decision is very marginal. and i think sometimes the other play maybe a better option. For example ICM doesnt take into account gaining the big stack to pawn the bubble, or taking the ever so slightly negative ev to preserve are fe. It basically doesn't take into account being blinded out or our proximity to the bb when we are very shallow. ICM is a great model but when your looking at marginal spots other factors can alter the decision for me.

I would suggest using the 30 day free trial of SNG wizard, and using the quiz they offer. You will be able to adjust the quiz settings to suite specific scenarios, such as your stack size, opponent's stack size and also blind levels, you will of course need to set the quiz to ICM mode. You will also be able to differentiate between difficulty levels so you can start at the more easy question to begin and change the difficulty when you feel you are progressing. For reference you will want to be completing between 100-200 scenarios during quiz mode to have any sizeable sample as to how your doing. I would also recommend putting on review mode for wrong answers so you can try and assess where you went wrong. Trial and error trial and error is the way to improve using these quizzes!
