Ok Guys, this is only about 45 mins into tourney with still alot of Blinds.$50 dollar buy in When UTG +1 Opens my plan is to just flat with AKs OOP for some reason as its early on if no one calls when it comes to me as i have alot of history with him and he doesnt usually get out of line( have around 1k hands and vpip is like 19 has a few big scores to date and respect his play. Although when MP calls then i decide to 3 bet as cant play the AK sooted OOP against two players IMO. MP unknown

we have around 10000 in chips roughly..UTG+ 1 opens to 375..MP calls,,i 3 bet to 1144 in SB with AKds, UTG+1 calls MP folds..POT SIZE 2813 Flop comes As 4h 6h.. I C bet 1725, V calls..Turn comes 9 h.POT SIZE 6263.. I have got 6841 behind.. What would be the best play here???? I will post the rest later on im just trying to get some knowledge..thanks guys

Any help on how you would play the hand in this spot guys. Thanks

P.S i can seem to get hand history converter working sorry.

If he's decent and doesn't get out of line then I can't see him calling a turn shove with worse (unless he gets stubborn with a hand like AxQh)

Yeah that's what I was thinking, we can never x/c here IMO,,if I do check I'm giving him a free card to catch up and with my stack left behind compared to pot was put in a tough spot..I was Hoping he had a hand like Ax with j or q of hearts and maybe call..Although I do ship the turn and he snaps Me off with kq hearts...Is this spewy of my play OTT and should we be giving up in spots like this.

Thanks for the replys guys

That's a statement I can understand, but I don't really understand what it implies.
I don't think we can go into check/fold mode, so we check/call turn and check/call river if turn gets checked through? And if a heart comes on the river, well then too bad. ?

Well it implies that if a bet never folds better and only gets called by worse then another action should probably bet taken. Checking may put us in a some what uncomfortable situation, but that's still better that the situation you create when betting.

Also, if the turn is checked through and another heart comes then yeah it looks bad, but if villain did have a FD ott then it's going to nearly always be because he has either AxQh or maybe AxJh, and villain prolly wouldn't have folded that to a turn shove anyways. It's highly unlikely villain has a non-pair FD ott.

other than that specific situation where AK/AQ might find a +EV outcome post by 3betting into multiple station-y opponents, thus creating a +EV c/jam spot on a Axx or K(Q)xx board with 30-50BB, I'm really struggling to see how AK/AQ can be a profitable 3-bet from the blinds into a single opponent or likely HU spot.

i routinely float these days and play a disguised hand post and am yet to be convinced it's less EV than the 3bet that everyone thinks is mandatory.

I agree with this, your position is bad, just flat and see a flop
