How do I not get exploited here??? 88 deep multiway...low drawy board How do I not get exploited here??? 88 deep multiway...low drawy board

The spot is having a mid pocket pair oop on a draw heavy scary board while being pretty deep stacked.

I really feel like good players can exploit the hell out of me in this spot. What kind of options do I have to play this hand post flop?

What would be your plan for the hand on all streets and bet sizing ect.??

Any help appreciated because I feel like it is very easy to own me here....thoughts???

Is this just standard???

When the heart fell on the turn I think the fold because easier but if that was just an overcard not heart I would have no fing clue of how to proceed with the hand.

So lets pretend like a Jc fell on the turn.....what would be my plan for the rest of the hand? Is my bet sizing on the flop OK?

looks pretty standard, would probably be inclined to b/f or c/c most turns (depending on what it is between which of those options is best), but when he bets this turn i don't think we're beating much. if a Jc had come on the turn i thimnk we should c/c because it's unlikely he has many legitimate hands with which to continue (and will be checking most of them) but may well think it's a good card to bluff if he happened to be floating the flop. would be more inclined to b/f blank turns.

check villians location, proceed from there

b/f is way more standard for me lately than c/c cause the way people float and i only c/f complete air

youre aware of the term floating correct? is this not something youve ever ran into before? i realize the pot is multiway...but its still not something youre always going to avoid.

he can be calling your flop bet with 100% of his preflop calling range waiting for you to wave the white flag which you so graciously did for him on a nice scare turn card.

Of course I know what floating is...I was referring to the country comment.....do you really think you can determine someones likelihood to float based on where they are from? And if so what am I looking for?

I hate these spots aswell, I think HU it is a clear b/f on the turn, but it's a weird dynamic 3way cos not sure how often people float in multiway pots. Also wondering how often villain would raise FD on flop anyway, is a flush that big a part of his range? If he is passive standard $22er then I guess he would always flat FD on flop... peoples thoughts???

You're going to be exploited sometimes in poker. Just try to exploit others more than you are exploited, imo.

I'm referring more to general mentality than this specific hand, btw, your wording kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

I probably check/call the turn, I'm sure that most will say that bet/folding is the better line.

For some reason this didn't cross my mind...the villain was kind of laggy stationy...didn't seem too agg and I was playing pretty tag so I would def say he could call here with a fd especially 3way

this seems like a super read specific spot on the turn in which I really didn't have a good enough of one. It seems as though bet/fold...check/call...and check/fold could all be correct depending on the specific villian.
