Hot 11 50 left AKo in SB vs chip leader open shove Hot 11 50 left AKo in SB vs chip leader open shove

What other factors should I consider before making this decision.
I don't understand these situations well enough to make the correct decision.
Say Vils open shoving 77+,A9s+K10s+,QTs+,JTs,A10o+,KJo

and AKo is 40.5% equity.
pot odds are 45%

Can someone explain in details why you'd make one decision over the other.
It would be precious for me to hear your decision process.

Thanks

id like to know more about villain, had he open shoved before? is he a donk???

I really think the open shove is a lot of mid pairs that don't want to see flops and rather just take it down pre and AK. i personally dont even think V would do this with AQ.

That being said, i don't think you're ever facing KK or AA and this mtt is a turbo.

Even if the table is really bad, and you don't wanna call for a flip for your tourney life because you wanna find a better spot. i still think you should call. We wanna make the ft and we're gonna need a lot more chips to do so, so call.

How on earth did you calculate these odds?

AKo has 59% equity vs that range. No brainer! GII

The chip leader at your table has 28 bbs in utg+1, so him open shoving for a 25 bb effective stack in that spot is the range you listed or much better, depending on the player. The guy on the hj in your hand is a 24 bb stack and his shove is for 17 bbs. His play in that spot has a much wider range than what you've listed. AK is a call simply because you're easily ahead. Also, 50 left in a turbo still requires a lot of flips and you'd rather get it in when you're likely to have the best hand.

We are ahead vs any reasonable range (I think yours is too tight and villain is prolly r/calling the top of his//her range at least some % of time) Snapcall and make a small victory dance.

Uh, call. No way he's open shoving 25bb with AA or KK.
