Are there some strategy posts about playing HU in turbo sngs with 15-20bbs?
I feel really lost with these stacks, i'm not sure if i should try to play postflop (ie. raise, limp or call) or just push/fold.

Hello all, have been in London all week. Thought I'd share a few highlights.

Me and my friend went to Harrods on Wednesday. I bought a bottle of wine for my dad for father's day next week and then we had a look in "fine wine" section. They had a bottle of Petrus, the one from Luis' avatar, on sale for £4000. Even more outrageous was a bottle of whiskey, 1938 vintage, for £8000.

I went to see Derren Brown's show that night which was awesome. He did this realluy cool magic trick where he makes a table float and performed a thing called "The Oracle," where he guesses questions the audience has while blindfolded and then answers them, which was completely baffling.

Coolest of all we were sitting in a pub one night in Knightsbridge, when my brother leans over and whispers to me "Morrissey is sitting over there." I turned around and sure enough he was right there at the next table about a metre away from me. The Smiths are one of my favourite bands so I got pretty excited and nervous. I didn't have the courage to speak to him and I'm kinda glad cos I probably would have blurted out something stupid.

Anyways I'm back now to pilage some SnGs. Good luck to FD in the WSOP tourney and wtf is that picture of a woman on the last page.

3rd for $1500

I put 1k into it, so I made $500 and a 16gb Ipod touch in a few days. I might try again so I can secure my shot at hitting SN

Lipo surely your a lock for SN.

Do you recommend these cash steps? Not sure I have the required bankroll or stomach for them but douple fpp is pretty tempting.

I have like 52k VPPs, which is more than half way 6 months throu8gh the year, but I expect my volume to decline to a minimum when the fall semester starts when I'll have 18hrs, and I'm thinking about pledging.

My bankroll isn't that high, and it's tougher for me to stomach losses than almost anyone I know, but something about the steps is different. Tickets don't feel real since you can't get anything out of them until you cash in a step 6.

And yes, the fpps are reallllly nice

I try not to nitpick and she's not ugly or anything but WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH HER FEET, it looks like she cut off someone elses feet and grafted them to her own.

I spent 1k on Step 1 tickets
06-06-2008 , 04:21 PM
wow i am so pissed

i was at the gym and got a drink of water in the middle of my set

there were flyers above my head where i was drinking, and i saw one for a restaurant called fusions cafe that delievered

it was some of the sickest looking food i had ever seen in my life. soy glazed sea bass with coconut vegetable stir fry, lamb sirloins, and all of this other outlandish stuff i didn't think existed in podunk tallahassee. the best part was they delivered

so i get home, and ex-eli calls the place and the call doesn't even connect, we go to the website and it doesn't even ****ing exist. i feel so defeated right now =[

any idea whats up with my avatar? for me it says "stevielarson's avatar"
06-06-2008 , 06:29 PM
ffs why must I every day either win every showdown or lose every one. Can't I just have a day where I win some of them? It's playing havoc on my nerves.

And I'm quitting the 60s for now. I can't seem to make any money there.
06-06-2008 , 06:34 PM
