Good spot to jam? Good spot to jam?

400k double-d

table is soft, and alot of bad players. villian and i have tangled in a few pots, and prob have been two of the more active players at the table, but i still view him as weak/bad, i believe he views me as LAG.

check this HH, i figured his river donk as a defensive bet, just seemed like a good spot to shove, i think he can fold a small flush, if somehow he was one, and he may call with top pair, or over pair, just seemed like a good spot against a bad player?

i think stacking off 70bbs here is bad. when you shove, what does he call with that we beat? We chop all 4s besides A4 and boats. He's never folding a flush. Not like he's losing a ton with JT here.

Just call otr.

You think he folds better and calls with worse? WTF? Just call. You're crushed if he calls your shove.

agree with folding pre. i realize its btn vs blinds, but its 4 6. it sucks steal with something that is beating something at least, like say 10 8 or even 68 suited.

Bet more on the flop. you gave him 3 to 1 to look at that flush draw, if he has any overs to the board he is getting close to the right odds to call you here. Make that bet bigger and take away the odds to draw. Make him make a bigger mistake than he is to chase there.

whooa on the turn. if he was drawing he just got there

call river, slow down now. agree with everyone else, if you are ahead here and winning he should be folding all hands you are beating. if he calls that, he should be beating you every time. by shoving you gain nothing here and can only lose more chips than you should have.

the river is different from the pre, flop and turn. flatting can be better than folding or raising here and it almost never is pre flop and turn.

sorry, flop is 2.5 to one, not a terrible bet. i still make it a little bigger to drive off the villain.

i am weak, so i need to act strong. natural reaction. i say 525 ish there.

also, on what basis is he a bad player? bad player seems to be the center of you logic here so i think you need to show that he is, you haven't given anything that made you think he was bad.

No way i'm folding pre on the button with something semi-connected - fish call, check then fold sooo much from the blinds that opening anything here has gota be +EV
