I have a big stack but have not been out of line. Have shown down the nuts,a set of jacks, and AA in the only notable pots that have seen showdown. Villian is a losing player but no reads as to why at this point.

Pre Flop: (t240) Hero is SB with A 6
5 folds, CO raises to t400, 1 fold, Hero raises to t1000, 1 fold, CO calls t600

Flop: (t2160) 5 J A (2 players)
Hero bets t960, CO raises to t1950, Hero calls t990

Turn: (t6060) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets t2370 all in, Hero calls t2370

So I hadnt been using my stack much and figured with the A blocker against a CO open this was a good time for it. I figured he would shove his decent As and fold the rest pre so I take this line. What do we think?

Chuck, I don't like the 3-bet sizing OOP, make it 1200 or don't do it at all (IMO the latter). From there the hand plays itself though ...

this

also flop is probably a b/f as gross as that sounds.

you're giving him like 3.5:1 to make the call pre, so I agree you should be 3betting bigger. I do like that hand for 3bet bluffs pre, but again I wait for antes to kick in, and even then prefer a large ante to blind ratio. On a dry board I think b/f flop is fine...but with the flush draw out there he could be raising you on the flop hoping to see a free river. I say bet/call flop and check/fold turn.

are we deep enough to flat pre?

fold pre without antes ...

as played just get it in on the flop, i think we're ahead often enough but he can definitely have hands like hearts and KQ and stuff that he isn't folding OTF but might take a free card with OTT and give up on river. i would call the flop raise IP but not OOP.
