Im 3rd in chips with around 115K in a 580 player MTT and we are down to 36 players. I'm UTG with QQ and raise 3x .Its folded around to villain in MP+1 jams for around 28K more to call. Every one folds around to me.

Should I call or fold in this spot?

Im playing on Bovada but I do have a HUD and Villain's VPIP was 17% after 56 hands.

It's an easy call m8 folding qq here would be criminal , next time you post tell us what the blinds are not that it matters in this spot though

Sorry I thought it would be irrelevant in this spot but it makes more sense to show how many BB we have.

Blinds 1,250/2,500 with a 250 ante

So we raise 3x 7500-bb,sb 3750 9 antes 2250 =13.500 villain shoves 28.000
So we have to put 20.500 to win 41.500 were getting better then 2-1 fist pump shove how could you consider folding qq here m8

Correct. Never fold a hand like QQ when you get 2 to 1.

I snap called and ran into AA.

I was asking this because I had just lost the chip lead 4 or 5 hands prier when I got it inn pre with KK ran into A5(Ace on the flop). I didn't know if flipping for 1/3 or 1/4 of your stack with a hand like QQ was standard play that deep. I figured the guy had AK at worst and didn't want to donate another chunk of my stack to the table but I figured I had too.

So your saying back in your day it's an easy call but now with players becoming more advanced flipping for 1/4 of your stack isn't always the smartest play. I think your right, there really is not that many fish left when you get down to 36 players these days.

So we should probably keep poker forums friendly so we can get more fish to play again. Help each other out and encourage them on making the right play. Letting them know if there QQ are not good that in the long run its still the correct play.

pretty sure he's saying in any day calling off 13bbs or w/e with QQ is a fistpump omg I hope I hold spot and not really postworthy. no offense. also, as people have gotten better they've learned to jam wider here, not tighter making it more of a call than in 'his' day, not less.
