So this is the very first hand of the tournament. I know people do crazy stuff early in these low stakes ones, but this is still a fold, right?

Should I have shoved flop? I thought about it,but worried about my kicker, figuring surely someone else has an A,obv with a better kicker. Now I might be looking at a split against an A,but losing to the flush. The reason why I am contemplating a call is the size of the pot, there's an awful lot of money in there, but still, isn't a split the very best I can hope for here?

If you feel someone has a better ace, please fold the flop. If you call, you are spewing. If you think you have the best hand, shove flop.

shove>fold>call, but is read dependant

as played easy fold on turn

Gotta raise that flop with that big of a post flop field. Standard poker. Do not fear a better ace, with the board you will likely be chopping (big aces should raise pf). You need to get value from the draws by raising this flop everytime.

Fold PF? When you play A-rag, this is where you wind up when you hit the flop. You got one of your best possible flops, you can easily be up against 3 non-A hands (KJ, KQ, FDs), so you have shove flop, especially since kickers may not play in a limped pot.
On the turns, it's a simple math problem. Assuming you are up against a str/flush, you have 1 A, 3 3's, 3 Q's and 3 T's - 10 outs, so 3.6:1 against. The pot is offering you 4,380:1,260 = 3.48:1 so it's a marginal fold.

EDIT: ooops, f'ed up the math - the pot is offering 4,780:1,260 = 3.8:1 so it's actually a marginal CALL.
